Volunteer

Here at Equine Sharing Program, Inc. our program would not be possible without our amazing volunteers. Our volunteers work along side our instructors to help each and every rider accomplish his or her goal.  

Volunteers 

• Help groom horses for the class
• Tack up horses for the class 
• Leaders
  • Main focus is the horse, maintaining pace, calmness allowing the rider to do as much as they can do. 
• Side-walkers
  • Main focus is the rider, check to make sure the rider is balanced in the saddle. And helps the rider with information given by the class instructor. 

Volunteer Guidelines  

• Must be 13 or older to volunteer, unless you have had previous horse experience. 
•  Closed toed shoes and dress appropriate, keeping in mind we do have a covered arena. But we do take the class on trail riders, where we have tall grass and uneven terrane. 
• Our primary form of communication with volunteers are through text message, please make sure to fill out our information sheet when you arrive.
